Clinton Global Initiative University
The University of Arkansas is a CGI U Network member, providing the opportunity for U of A students to submit their own Commitments to Action. In their own words, CGI U builds "...on the successful model of the Clinton Global Initiative, President Clinton launched the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) in 2007 to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses around the world.
Service Learning
The Service Learning Initiative (SLI) is a joint initiative of the University of Arkansas Provost Office, the Honors College, and the Division of Student Affairs with the purpose of formalizing and expanding service learning opportunities on campus.
The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry
The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry provides a 3 day supply of food for each of our clients and their families.
Agency Support
The VAC Student Engagement team, advised by Center for Community Engagement Staff, works together with local agencies to assist them with their volunteer needs by providing support though GivePulse and our VAC Pilot and Find Your Impact Programs.
