Razorback Food Recovery Volunteer Applications Open for Spring Semester

Food Recovery Volunteers will work a 1-hour shift to recover leftover food at a campus dining facility. Distribution Leaders will work a 1 1/2-hour shift to deliver the recovered food to partner sites around Northwest Arkansas. Both volunteer positions are once per week for the duration of the semester. Responsibilities for food recovery include preparing, packaging, data-logging, etc. recovered food in various locations across campus. Responsibilities for distribution include driving a University vehicle to transport recovered food from various locations on campus to local community partners. Applications will close on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon.

Razorback Food Recovery Leader Volunteer Applications Open for Spring Semester

Food Recovery Leaders will work a 1-hour shift where they take responsibility as shift leaders. Along with working their weekly shift, Recovery Leaders will meet every other week for the duration of the semester. Responsibilities include preparing, packaging, data-logging, etc. recovered food in various locations across campus. Applications will close on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon.

Pantry Volunteer Applications Open for Spring Semester

Pantry volunteers will work 2-hour shifts at the pantry once per week for the duration of the spring semester. Responsibilities include greeting clients, filling orders, stocking shelves, portioning food, light cleaning, and other various tasks. Applications will close on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 12:00 noon.

Mobile Pantry Volunteer Applications Open for Spring Semester

Mobile Pantry volunteers will work either a 1-hour shift to fill online orders or a 2-hour shift to deliver orders to sites around Fayetteville. This is a weekly commitment for the spring semester. Responsibilities for filling online orders include packing bags with items from the pantry, loading orders into the van, etc. Responsibilities for delivering orders includes driving a University vehicle to each destination, distributing appropriate orders to each site, etc. Applications will close on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
